Challenge

Skånetrafiken is committed to enhancing its operations and harnessing the potential of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence to drive future advancements. To accomplish this, the organization recognized the importance of a comprehensive understanding of its performance and sought to establish a centralized Analytics Platform. This platform would enable them to gather, store, and analyze data from various sources, while also connecting it with other services and applications. The need for agility and access to reliable, extensive data became even more apparent amid changing business landscapes, emphasizing the importance of informed decision-making.

Solution

We designed an Analytics Platform tailored to Skånetrafiken’s specific requirements. The platform leverages a Data Warehouse as the back-end storage for data, utilizing both On-Prem and Azure environments. For seamless data consumption throughout the organization, QlikView and Qlik Sense were implemented as user-friendly and powerful tools. Additionally, Azure Databricks was employed for data processing. The Data Warehouse currently integrates data from nearly 20 diverse sources, covering critical aspects of Skånetrafiken's operations.
